JC is deeply passionate about wine and other pleasures of the table. Always looking for quirky and unusual wines, he regularly travels to various wine regions around the world to learn the human stories behind the labels
At 25, J.C. established his first company in Hong Kong. For the last 20 years, he has experienced the fascinating growth the region has sustained, first as an Entrepreneur in the Import & Export industry and now as an expert in wine communications.
Holder of the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma (Merit), he is also a WSET Approved Program Provider and Certified Educator. A Vinitaly Academy Italian Wine Ambassador and creator and host to a popular 30-part wine workshop series "How To Taste Like A Pro", he holds regular classes on wine tasting and on Italy.
When he is not talking about wine, he writes about it and is the Deputy Editor of Spirito di Vino Asia, a bi-monthly magazine dedicated to promote a Culture & Quality "Wine-Style". The magazine is widely distributed across Asia.
Experienced Wine judge for the Decanter Asia Wine Awards and 5-Star Wines (Vinitaly), he also attended the rigorous Advanced Wine Assessment Course (AWAC) presented by AWRI to prepare Australian Wine Show Judges.
Special interests: Wine Tasting Techniques and Italian Indigenous Grape Varieties.

Holder of the Italian Sommelier Association Level 3, he is currently studying for higher certification levels. He visited vineyards all over Italy and regularly attend tastings and seminars devoted to Italian wines.
