Join me for a series of 3 classes on Bordeaux at The Fine Wine Center.
These courses, designed by "L'École Du Vin De Bordeaux", will help demystify this famous wine region. The classes focus on the key appellations, grape varieties, the characteristics of the wines as well as the influence of wine-making techniques on style.
These courses are perfect for the avid beginner, or for those who have wine knowledge and are seeking to improve their tasting technique while gaining more detailed knowledge about Bordeaux.
Only Premium wines are served during these classes.
Red Wines - Thursday 3rd June
This comparative tasting will provide the background to be able to identify the key characteristics of Bordeaux styles that are indicative of their particular regions.
Dry & Wine White Wines - Thursday 10th June
A focus on white wines will provide an opportunity to explore regional Bordeaux styles, the classifications and labeling terms.
Matching Wine and Food - Thursday 17th June
In this session the tasting includes white, red and sweet wines and the principles of what types of food make the perfect partners. This will provide the basics on how enhance both your food and wine experience.

This masterclass will be led by JC Viens, who is an Acredited Educator of The Official Bordeaux Wine School and a Certified Tutor of the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET). He is a holder of the WSET Diploma, seen as an essential qualification to becoming Master of Wine.
